bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 03:00 PM) anyway i use launcherpro so i shudnt even b commenting :)
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:59 PM) adw is uneccesary imo
Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:57 PM) k, thanks. ill try that too
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:56 PM) also its kinda obv but turn off as much u can in adw
Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:55 PM) @desuku: hmmmm... i dont know what the last 2 are but ill shut off compcache and try again
Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:54 PM) lol, yeah, jus trying to make it last the next year before i can get a new phone...
Desuku Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:54 PM) My CM6RC2 has not rebooted once. If you flash a CM6 I have noticed best practice is to turn off Compcache, JIT Compiler, Screen Cache
Mosif Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:54 PM) cant help ya there, my g1 has just been a paperweight since I got the droid, its very sad really
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:53 PM) same here, guess ur doing what the rest of us r, trynna squeeze the last drop of speed out of it lol
Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:52 PM) yeah
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:51 PM) jedilightsaberman, r u on a g1?
Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:51 PM) Btw, the other thing ive been trying to figure out... Anyone know why when i try to flash RC1 my phone gets stuck on the cyanogen "x" screen after i reboot?
Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:51 PM) Kk, i think ill start out with 64, thanks.
Mosif Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:50 PM) Right @ciwrl, @jedi don't use the full 96mb for swappiness, just experiment with 64 and 32, I haven't really seen a huge difference with either, its preference mostly
Desuku Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:49 PM) Use Titanium Backup. Recommended by most Devs. Lol. Instead of Doctors haha
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:49 PM) someone know if thats works?
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:49 PM) just resize in recovery
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:48 PM) i have done a lot of stupid things on my android :)
Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:48 PM) any idea how id do that?

Crypticc:

The jit-on script uses pershoots files and some scripts to turn on/off so the zip he provided actually has files updated more recently, I will update my script later after work.

Not necessarily, the script has files from the test source, if you flash his zip after mine you'll have the most recently compiled version. Jit-off will still work jit-on will reinstall previous version. I'm updating tonight so if you prefer the script flash it again after I update it.

So tonight (after your update) I have to flash the script and afterwords I flash your zip to be able to toggle?
Sorry for this question but I'd like to be on a save way and don't wanna make any mistakes because of my bad english...

Thanks Pershoot, I've tried it and it works.
Only, my experience with it isn't that great, so I was wondering (seeing a positive reply here), is there anything else that can be done/configured on the device? Except OC-ing, I wouldn't want to do that...
