Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:54 PM) lol, yeah, jus trying to make it last the next year before i can get a new phone...
Desuku Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:54 PM) My CM6RC2 has not rebooted once. If you flash a CM6 I have noticed best practice is to turn off Compcache, JIT Compiler, Screen Cache
Mosif Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:54 PM) cant help ya there, my g1 has just been a paperweight since I got the droid, its very sad really
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:53 PM) same here, guess ur doing what the rest of us r, trynna squeeze the last drop of speed out of it lol

Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:51 PM) Btw, the other thing ive been trying to figure out... Anyone know why when i try to flash RC1 my phone gets stuck on the cyanogen "x" screen after i reboot?
Jediswordsman Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:51 PM) Kk, i think ill start out with 64, thanks.
Mosif Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:50 PM) Right @ciwrl, @jedi don't use the full 96mb for swappiness, just experiment with 64 and 32, I haven't really seen a huge difference with either, its preference mostly
Desuku Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:49 PM) Use Titanium Backup. Recommended by most Devs. Lol. Instead of Doctors haha
bugmenot Icon : (29 July 2010 - 02:49 PM) someone know if thats works?

Having issues, all of a sudden (ie. not immediately after updating or installing anything) about 2 days ago, I stopped receiving any new text messages. I can send them out, they are received, but no replies are delivered to me. In addition, though I have APPS2SD installed, it stopped functioning evidently the same time, and disabling and re-enabling it is not helping. With all this, yesterday (though I can't attest to it being before or not) I tried getting an app from the market, and updating, and nothing's happening. Everything's stuck at downloading, with no progress.

Any Idea's? Many thanks in advance.

And just checked, I stopped getting mail on the 29th of May also, which is when this all started.

Wiped and re-flashed, and got 2 days worth of texts. All things seem fine now.

EDIT: Nope, still nada, it worked for a sec, now im back to it all, wiped and flashed again, but nothing. dunno what to do here.

EDIT2: OK, managed to finally re-install my apps after umteen restarts. No wifi will connect though, I think / hope thats the only issue. It seemed like everything had shut down in terms of communication (though I could still make and recieve calls, texts, downloads et all stopped) now it seems, just wifi isn't working. Also, before this I was just updating, no wipes, so did the dialer change from the pretty new one in 5.0.5 to the original in 4.xx.x.x?
