So I managed to really mess things up, and the internet is yielding no answers.

I wanted to get rid of my apps2sd partition, so I simply though I could go in Windows and delete ext partition, and reunite the two SD partitions into one big FAT32 family. But now all it did was make the ext partition into a "unallocated" partition, and for the life of me can't figure out how to make it one big FAT32 partition.

I've googled for over an hour for a utility that works on Vista/Windows 7, haven't found anything.

Ideas?

Windows cannot see ext partitions, so for the most part, it doesnt even know its there.

Do this:

1) Backup contents of the fat32 partition of your sd card
2) Drop to recovery
3) In amon_ra recovery, partition your sdcard for 0 swap, 0 ext and remainder fat32.
Any suggestions I make are just that, suggestions. I am not responsible for what you do to your phone.

Awesome! I thought I was just going to lose yet another 500MB to recursive partitioning :P

Slowly learning how all this stuff works...

For future reference, I'm pretty sure gparted can do nondestructive repartitioning, so you could just try an ubuntu livecd.
Note: it's always advisable to back up your data before the process even if it's supposed to be "nondestructive". Things do go wrong.

Good point, but I didn't have a LiveCD on me. I'll note that for future reference.
