Sorry if I'm double-posting something here. Did some searches and couldn't find anything. Also, the URL that I had for that topic no longer works, so I'm assuming that the topic was pulled. If there's more info on it in these forums, please point me the right way. Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks to Skrki for pointing me to this consolidated thread (and moving my post here).

I get a weird tint to my screen, and it's like a very very very light yellow/green tint. kinda like if you connected a really old monitor to a brand new video card.

Go to Droid Basement and download the latest Kernel: Kernel 2.6.35.10 – OC-UV-RAM-FP – Dream/Sapphire (32B/A)

Make sure your render effect choice is set to none. If thats not it then flash a different kernel like pershoot 2.6.35.7

this was doing the kernel trick.
***fixed***
It's not bricked... thank GOD... but I still can't get the tint to go away on 6.1.0-DS...
I've tried the kernel update... nothing. Still greenish... any ideas?

Which kernel did you use? I had good luck with ezTerry's kernel. Might try reinstalling the ROM, then doing the kernel again.

I made a MAJOR n00b mistake... so let me put on my flame-suit before I get into this.......... hold on need my waders too, because this **** is about to get deep.
OK... so I was on my way to work... and I thought... "eh wtf... let's go back to stock." I had everything on my phone to do it... and I wouldn't get the chance at work... so I go into terminal emulator... no problem... right?
HERE is where the noob mistake comes in... instead of flashing all other images first... what's the first image I flash?
RECOVERY. Fucked myself from the start... I'm ok right? Wrong. Started flashing system.img........... everything was going smooth... until my device just died on me... literally. Battery... wtf?
So... NOW... I'm stuck with no recovery, and no OS... well... I have STOCK recovery... so if ANYONE has any recovery back-ups... or factory updates to share for a MT3G 1.2 LE... please pm me. I don't care what it is, as long as it works, I'll be happy.

Sorry, I have no clue about this new radio, so I am confused as to why so many people bothered "upgrading" to it when, in my case, my phone works great without it, running CM 6.1.

hey guys,
I finally figured out a solution to this problem....
U have to flash pershoot kernel which u can find using ROM manager application (easily available on market)
pay for its premium version or find out the cracked one if u can
or Go to ROM Manager -> download rom -> pershoot
download the latest pershoot kernel availble there.
it will be saved on SD card -> clockworldmod -> droidbasement (if u r using clockworldmod recovery)
(u can download from http://droidbasement.../db-blog/?p=594 but if u r not sure about the kernel.... Rom manager will give the particular one which u really require)
u can either flash it directly after wiping using the rom manager...
what i would suggest is that u flash a clean rom....
*Wipe everything.... upto davlik cache
*then fastboot erase system
*flash rom (cyanogenmod 6.1 in my case)
*flash the pershoot kernel... (no need for eb1 kernels)
*flash gapps
reboot
and u will have a faster android os without any tint
TINT really gone D:

Glad you got it fixed. If you had searched you would have seen that the problem was solved a long time ago, so hope you haven't been looking too long.
