I already said it wouldn't have flash, nor would it work. It doesn't work on phones which don't have Cortex A8 (or the 1Ghz frequency).

Is that a hardware or software issue?

They probably ran tests and decided the various Android/GPU/CPU/RAM memory amount combinations were too numerous to test against each and maintain a compatibility list. So they decided a device with 1Ghz CPU (at this time the Cortex A8) is the minimum requirement. I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing flash on Galaxy 5.

I'm also pretty sure we will not be getting Android 2.3 due to hardware requirements.

It might not be possible to have multitouch support. The hardware doesn't support it, from what I heard.

I understand but this sub-forum is for the i9000 ... not the i5500B :'(
Try here : http://forum.cyanoge...nogenmod-ports/
Maybe not the best place there, but better ;)

i assume it's an update.zip...
then put it in your sdcard then reboot into recovery

or use odin...

or use fastboot thru android-sdk...

Hi,

I managed to build a recovery clockworkmod from source by using koush tutorial
Now i need to figure out the block's of the device (/dev/block/bml1;/dev/block/bml2;.../dev/block/bml14) i already figured out the /cache;/data;/system
Now i have to find out what the rest means
I have the dump files for each block, can anyone help me out to discover them?
Later i will upload the files to megaupload so everyone can have a loot
