Hey all, two questions:

One, I would like to change the base cyanogenmod splash screen to the Nexus One splash screen. I saw the post in this forum for doing so, does anyone happen to have that splash screen lying around?

Second, is it possible to change the initial bright white HTC screen to something else? If so, how, and what does the nexus one's powerup screen look like?

Thanks in advance!

I dont have the stock N1 animation (you can pull it from any stock n1 rom out there), but here is the CM-colored stock animation http://www.mediafire.com/?niw4hwkzgno

As for making either of them your new boot ani, rename it bootanimation.zip; then place it in /data/local

If /data/local/ doesn't exist, create it.

Finally, for the splash image (the white HTC), the n1's is a simple black screen with the Nexus X logo (multicolored). Im not familiar with the desire specifically, but like most HTC phones, that is controlled by splash1/splash 2 and requires fastboot to change (and likely a S-off phone). Search google for 'flash desire splash1', id imagine youll get a nice tut.

What's the difference between splash 1 and splash 2 and then the boot animation? Do some phones have two splashes before the boot animation?

Look at the topic below this one. It's a step by step for replacement of the splash1 and without fastboot! ;-)

No I get that. I saw that. I actually referenced that in my first post. However, I was confused to the nature of splash2

Forget the term splash2 friend. Just kick it to the curb bro. :-)
