Radio controls the following:
Cell phone radio, 3G/HSPA, gps, and wifi (and bluetooth)
GPU (graphics and video)
Codecs (video/audio playback)
So its more than just 'radio' in the traditional sense

Force Close when recording video (when stop is pushed, trying to save/render).
I also flashed FRF50-radio-4_06_0_12_7.zip BEFORE flashing the 5.0.8 CM ROM
The solution:
Re-flash the FRF50-radio-4_06_0_12_7.zip file from the recovery image.
All is well now.
Can you please add explicit instructs about order of flashing (5.0.8 1st, then radio image) in the pinned forum post for 5.0.8... thanks.

I was having this issue as well. All I had to do was open the camera, slide the slider to video, go to settings, set the option to record in 720p, and set video duration to 30min.
This stopped it from crashing.
I don't know why, but it worked for me. Hope this helps!

How about you post in a thread that is not referring to a CM version over a year old? Or for your phone itself? And it would be nice to include any errors you may be having and the actual details of what you have tried.
