Downloading #51 now, will post back in about 10 minutes.

Okay I installed it and seems to be working fine. Will post back later if any problems occur.

wifi is acting a little screwy with #51 for me. it seems to be totally ignoring the sleep setting and loses connectivity when the screen shuts off and won't resume til i untoggle/retoggle wifi or let carrier data connect.

*edit* nevermind - tried again after i got it working the first time, now it's just flat out not tx/rx via wifi.

*edit again* restored my nandroid backup and re-downloaded and re-applied #51 and it's working fine now. go figure.

One last GPs bug to squash.   It works just fine, but if you use it for awhile in some apps, it doesnt stop when you exit the app and hangs.  toggling it on/off does nothing.  i notice sometimes if you go into google maps it will reclaim access to gps and you can then exit the app and shut down gps.

Google directions also hangs after using gps for about 5-10 minutes, it just loses gps signal and cant find it.  other apps dont seem to do this like runkeeper etc.

Seems to be completely b0rked now. Nightly 56 and 7.0.2 both have completely non-functional GPS for me...says I'm about 100 miles north of my real location.

on 7.0.2 I used the GPS quite a bit and it's working fine.

The problem mentioned by jdnh I'm experiencing it since 6.1.1 and some times it was gone when a Gmaps Update came out.
I'm not sure now if it's related to Gmaps or to the ROM, but i think it's not a big deal... After using any GPS app, I go back to GMaps and check that it's turned of after exiting.

7.0.2 hosed my GPS completely, radio is:  12.50.60.24U_26.08.04.16_M

On another subject:
I noticed my cellular EDGE indicator goes on and off over and over when trying to use gps too.  i noticed that would happen only once when first using gps (when gps worked properly), i believe thats t-mobile recording my location?  :-)  , theres been some articles lately and was wondering who knows if thats indeed whats happening and if we can disable it at the ROM level or if its built into the radio.

That's AGPS in action. The phone gets some initial location information from the cell towers in order to achieve a faster GPS fix. If it were possible to disable, it would cause GPS lock to take several minutes, rather than several seconds.

that makes sense, thanks for the explanation.   i fell back to nightly 54 for now , if the next couple nightlies still dont work with gps i'll dig deeper and see if i can find out why.  i havent done a full wipe/install in awhile so i'll try that too.

I hope they're working hard to get 2.3.4 working on all devices including this one, but yeah, it sure had been quiet...

Hi Guys. Looking forward to what's to come. (Assuming that's the hangup with the nightly builds) In the meantime...

I have noticed that since around 7.0.2 I have been having intermittent connection issues where the signal indicators "lose" the Google connection. (If that's what it means when the indicators are green vs. white). I have been changing radios a bit, but it seems to happen with any radio I flash. I suspect that it's either the ROM, T-Mobile, or just bad luck.

Any one else see this behavior?
-Sean

PS.. Anyone know where I can "observe" the activity in the CM codebase? The devs don't seem to comment much on these threads, so it would be good to see what's actually going on. Been rather quiet lately.

I am having an issue with 7.0.2 and #58 with Pershoot, where the phone boots up to the maximum 1516MHz, no matter where I have it set to.  I have to go into SetCPU, and for an instant, I can see that it is sitting at 1516, and then it jumps down to where I have it set (1152).  Until I go into SetCPU, I have the screen wake issues, and occasionally a reboot.  Has anyone else seen this?
