Has anyone had a problem with the keyboard locking up. For example I would be texting and all of the sudden a key that I need to press is not responding, then I will delete all the way(it just happened on the "a") past the beginning of the word and it will work again. Has anyone encountered this problem, is there a fix.

Thanks ahead of time

Alarm working on 79 for me as well. I have not wiped since moving to FYI I have not wiped since 72, but I do fix permissions and clear battery stats with each build

I use rom manager to DLd everything automatically for me but looking at the sdcard it looks like gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip

I've noticed this issue myself. Seems to happen most in the Market. The keyboard won't respond, OR it will disappear from the screen yet still respond. Force-closing the keyboard in System Panel fixed the issue, at least temporarily.

I have not had the issue with the keyboard disappearing but being responsive yes just about on everything. But I would like a permanent fix. It is honestly the only thing I dislike about this rom.

I reinstalled 79, and the home button now works.  20110503 gapps work great too.

Wired tethering, either through menu or app, still instantly freezes and reboots the phone.

I am unable to mount /system for r/w after flashing CWM 2.1.5.2 on nightlies #79. I was trying to flash an animated boot screen but the /system won't mount so obviously it can not install. I'm assuming that since the release of 7.0.3 RC4 there have been changes tha prevent using any CWM under 3.x. Has anyone else tried this?

Pretty sure CM7 requires CWM3 which supports the EXT4 file system.

I'm using the May 2.3.4 gapps, and every time i go from nightly to nightly they disappear and I have to reinstall them.  Is this normal?

if you're doing a full wipe, then yes. all your apps will disappear.

if you're just wiping cache and dalvik cache, then no, all your apps - including gApps - should remain.

Just dalvik and cache.  It's not a huge deal to reapply the gapps zip, but it is annoying to have to input my account info every time

Running 84 here. Full wipe before flash, in call volume does not work for me.
