Will you make a v7 for dream and sapphire????

Mod Edit:

A lot of you asked for it, and Chann was nice enough to upload the last CM6 nightly posted.

Seeing that so many people want the latest nightly available, here it is (mirror):

Untouched and unmodified, I only uploaded it.

gapps-gb-20110115 is not for dream/sapphire.
It's a "MDPI" version not a "Tiny".

I think they just wanted to get rid of the topic, instead we can use new topics to discuss things that we want concerning experimenting on the D/S.

Either way, I really want a new phone..

There are no nightlies on the mirror as far as I know. I looked last night which was approximately 8 hours ago and there was nothing listed in the D/S section. I'm assuming this is because they've halted doing any nightlies for the D/S.

I didnt delete any of the topics that were open, just consolidated them, since they were all essentially asking the same thing.

Please read the link in this post.

As for old CM6 nightlies; they were removed once CM7 nightlies went live; not just removed for DS but all devices.

Edit: Becuase someone actually took this to mean I was gonna shut down all CM6 discussion, I'll say this openly. Please carry out the remainder of CM6-nightly/CM7 status discussion in this thread.

The other thread was huge and unwieldy, and moving the topic to CM7 (new maintainers/Ezterry/Firerat) wouldve been completely off topic. In addition, since CM6 code will not be revisited, having that thread open was pointless really. Thanks

Ok, thanks for the info, but why didn't you just say all this in the first place rather than making that post on the nightly thread that sounded like a big "f you" to all the active posters there? I'm sure that wasn't your intention, but that's the way it sounded, coming as it did out of the blue.

Also, is it possible to get the 307 nightly hosted somewhere, perhaps in the experimental download section? It had some useful mods in it, including the new lockscreen, and was apparently compiled using the new compiler and runs noticeably better than the other recent nightly builds.

See my post #9...  Someone should move the link to the first post.

Sorry, completely not my intent. I was covering a lot of devices at once last night, and may have been a bit more abrupt than I wouldve liked to have come across. Apologies again.

Chann has re-uploaded #307 and I've added it to OP.

Since the nightlies topic is locked, I have to ask here: Is the latest CM6 nightly any better/stabler than the current stable version? What's the difference?

I feel that the Latest stable is the best since you can actually apply themes..

Otherwise, 285 and 307 are both good builds and some bugs are fixed that are present in latest stable (I can upload 285 if you want also).
