We are talking about it on the nightly topic, there's no need to add more about the same build.

Im sorry but I couldnt find it easily and many like me wont be able to do that either. CM7 for dream is not aa small news and it should not be burried in a thead. Many people google cm7 for g1 and dont find anything (including me). Now its right there on google search for G1 CM7.

BTW Im a HUGE FAN of you ROALEX and billions of thanks for all of your efforts for HTC DREAM/G1.
I regularly read your posts on XDA developers.

Its no problem with me, but this "build" get to much attention as it is imo. Im not even a dev, i simply put a few things together to pass the time till we have an official release.

Your mediafire link "www.mediafire.com/?ucuykm4aqr7131x" is for a gapps not the rom.  The dropbox link is blocked.

MOD EDIT: Quote of OP removed.

thanks for pointing the mistake. I have corrected it. For another link you can go to xda developers link (given in the lowermost line) and ask the OP. As I said its not my rom and I have nothing to do with it either. I posted the thread as a pointer so that it can be highlighted to more people who usually visit CM website in search of updated rom for G1.

im sure it works on the 32b magic but there is no need for that spl ending with d the d at the end is for the DREAM.
please read up on that before somebody flashes it onto a mytouch 3g or magic.
i will admit the tittle does say dream/g1, but as its posted in the dream/magic forum other users might feel the need to flash those too.

the .0013d SPL works fine on the 32B Magic (aka MT3G 1.0/original) & it lets you fastboot erase & flash different region .nbh files that the standard .0013 doesn't.

I got this working on my Magic 32A by removing the SPL assert in update-script and flashing pershoot's latest 32A kernel.  All seems to be working OK.  This is the 2nd day of use so I haven't tried everything yet.  More to come.

I have it running with this setup.
32A
HBoot-1.33.0013 (sap)31000)
Radio-2.22.23.02
Booted with green screen but used ezterrys green screen kernel fix form cm6.1stable and it works lol. After try several others to boot. No USB though.
The ROM runs extremely good for an alpha. Using as a daily with minimum flaws.

Very laggy & FCs. Also noticed some pixel flaws (e.g. buttons to select settings).

MT3G 32B
HBoot-1.33.0013
Radio-2.22.28.07

Had to downgrade SPL & Radio to get CM6 working again.

Everything that your looking for is here@ XDA. I First Made a back up. then flashed ohsaka wipe. after that flash the newest alpha build. Then flash gapps. I ended up with green screen and the only kernel that worked for me (i tried like 7 dif.) was Ezterrys green screen fix for CM6.1  This worked for me however i cant guarantee that it will for you. I dont know what set up or settings you have on your phone. Beware that it may not work for you.

Pretty much everything you need to know is in that thread. Read ALL of it before you do anything and google whatever you dont know. Thats how i was able to do this myself.

Hope it helps

As I said: look at the post.  It has links to the ROM and kernel as well as installation instructions.  What more do you want?
