I tried installing 7.03 with the libs (v1), but no cigar. failed almost immediately. Is there a big difference between the v1 and v2 libs?

@msm: can you post here your correspondence with HTC on the matter? Would like to have a baseline before proceeding with an RMA.

Installed 7.1.0 few days ago.
It seems like I don't have this issue anymore. Before I upgraded I was looking to see if someone who had the problem tried to upgrade to 7.1.0 and had luck. Couldn't find any post.
So I'm writing this post for anyone who had the problem in the past - I can confirm 7.1.0 works perfectly on my Nexus One.

ryanben,
I have been having this problem on my stock N1 on ATT.
I have found on program that seems to help the issue, I got Fast Reboot Pro from the market & reboots the process at 4:00 AM, This helps for usually about 1 week.
I have a Plantronics Voyager Pro blue tooth ear piece, If I set up the earpiece to stream media to it that is a quick guarantee to lock up the phone in short order, so I just use the earpiece for phone only.
I have unlocked the boot loader ready to install CM7.1 when I found this thread.
I have a question, if anybody else had this problem before they install CM7.1 when they installed CM did this help the problem any, stay the same or make it worse?
I just called HTC & quoted 7-10 days & 55 -280 to fix the phone out of warranty.
ryanben I would like to see how your phone is doing after a few more days.
