I had it lock up repeatedly 2 nights ago, until I finally restored my nandroid from rc1.  That ran fine, and I updated to CMRC2 had 1 day of great, then again today, repeated non-responsive.  As quickly as 5 minutes after a reboot.  Went back to the RC1 and so far no lockups.  Seems to be something with 2.3.3  I have never had the non-responsive with RC1

Also having a problem with my SDcard constantly reverting back to ro.  Thanks to Root Explorer, it is a quick fix, but very annoying to have the issue.  Is this something others have experienced?

I experienced the non-responsive issue on RC1 as well as RC2. Same issue as you, really - sometimes the phone would work fine for one day and others just for a few minutes. Only solution is to pull the battery.

Never had any issues with the SD card.

I am not sure if the only recourse in those instances is pulling out the battery. Try waiting for a while (about 30 seconds or a minute) and then try waking up the phone using the power button or trackball (if it was set to do so). Hopefully, that will make it slightly less painful in handling the problem.

I tried it too, no answer after up to 15 minutes :(

In my experience, there's only two ways to wake it back up when this happens:

- Pull the battery
- Plug into power, which will make the phone reboot after about 45-60 seconds

Here my two Google Nexus one. One of them works perfectly an the other one has the issue.
Do you think I have to change radio/boot?

Have you seen both panels at quick sight? They are differents.

Same issue here, with a Nexus One bought in spain. Radio is the same version as yours.

Exact same HBOOT and radio for me.  I can confirm that #30 doesn't fix the problem, as I ironically just got my first freeze on it as I sat down to review the updates to this thread.

I don't pull the battery.  I use the power button / volume down / trackball all held at the same time.  Sometimes I have to do this 2 times, but it always reboots.

My HBOOT is 0.35.0017 and my radio is 5.08 and I do not have these issues. So while it may only be affecting users with those HBOOTs and radios it is not affecting all of those users.
