Using CM7 RC1 and it seems to have lost the ability to kill any app running by long pressing the back button . any suggestion ?? cause loading a separate app to kill is just annoying and tedious . thanks

The option seems to be there. See 'Settings/Application Settings/Development/Stop App Via Long Press'.

Interesting... here I was thinking that I never had it in CM6, but I just didn't know how to toggle the setting.  :)

Thanks for the info I installed RC1 3 days ago and have been looking for the setting ever since. I thought it was in cyanogenmod settings.

I couldnt find this either, so thanks for the info. They've done a great job of hiding this setting - buried inside a sub-menu named 'development'. Makes all the difference!

I have it enabled but it doesn't work for me. Any way to debug it?

Probably worth running adb logcat and seeing what is logged when you long press.  Might give you some google targets.

Did that. Nothing really shows up except this "No keyboard for id 131074" which I dont know if it's relevant or not because google links it to various other not related issues.
