sorry, I am a newbie about cyanogen mode. What's the different between HERO and HERO(CDMA)? Except the RF part, are the codes the same between them?

The CDMA Hero has more in it different than the radio. I'm not sure what all is different, but I know themes and such don't work between the two.

Lox, did you still need a tester?  I replied to your tweet but never heard back. I have a CDMA Hero that I use just for playing with new ROMs.

Go test it here: http://forum.cyanoge...iew-test0-0705/

I have updated the test0 release. It now supports CDMA Heroes as well. We have only one issue with the unified kernel thus, CDMA users, you have to flash an other kernel. It will be fixed soon.

I'm lost as though GSM Hero will get CM6 or not? Cyanogen announcement mentioned CDMA Hero only, this thread title as well, though it's contents look to me like GSM will get some love as well.

The GSM Hero was added as well, and Lox is the developer there, I think.
Now the ROM works for both GSM and CDMA. :)

Flash 10.1 is not included, mainly due it does not support our processor.

Makes sense. What about the rest?

From my understanding will not be turned on by default (again to hardware limitations, this time RAM), but you will options to enable in the settings if you want.

Everything else should be included.

Really? Even live wallpapers?  I'm curious to know how much it taxes the phone... but otherwise don't see much use (except for maybe this one: http://www.androidce...-live-wallpaper)

Also, what improvements have you seen with the hero when comparing 2.1 stock to 2.2?  As the user profile says, I'm on the CDMA Hero (eg, Sprint)

Live Wallpapers work on Darchdroid, which based on CM5. Some of the more simpler live wallpapers work fine without causing much issue for the phone, some simply do not work. You have to kind of experiment with it.

As far as Stock 2.1 compared to CM6, I can't really comment. I never ran full stock 2.1 & in fact haven't ran stock 1.5 in almost 8 months. Since I rooted my phone, which was shortly after it came available for the Sprint Hero, I'm been mostly running AOSP-based ROMs, expect for the few Sense ROMs I've tried for a day or so. But let alone there was a world of different between stock 1.5 & AOSP 1.6.

Just to be agonizingly clear...

This is a stable CM ROM on the Sprint Hero?

If so, I am forever grateful

Is there any way to reprogram speed dial 1 to dial my VM # instead of Hellio?  I'm on Sprint btw.  I'd rather not use Google Voice, but if I have to I will.

I haven't tried the rom, but in stock, go into the dialer
Menu > Speed Dial > Add New.

Go into Settings » Call Settings & adjust the Voicemail settings to your phone number.

That's a Sense feature. AOSP doesn't have speed dial.
