I was just wondering if this ROM is compatible with the XT701. I know that thing has been rooted, but it seems like there isn't much development for it yet.

hi there,
I think Cynogenmod guys are doin a gr8 job bringing froyo to the masses.
I recently bought a Motorola XT701 from Hong Kong......
I really luv dis phone..... (My first android btw...)
but recently i felt sm of the features have been restricted so i ported a Droid X3 Rom by Jboogie3 to my phone...
Its running faster and better now....
but since froyo is out i been hoping motorola would release it soon enuff....
but i dont think its gonna happen soon.......
and i wanna try froyo out badly..... (especially the saving apps to sd part)
is it possible to port cyanogenmod to XT701???

Hi,
I was wondering how difficult it would be to port CM06 to the XT701 using the Droid version as a starting point. The xt701 is considered a Milestone model, but it allows unsigned kernels and the hardware is almost identical to my understanding. (minus the keyboard and the Droid being CDMA)
Thanks for taking a look,
Pietro

Help!!!help our xt701 users,we've made 2.2 run on it but many bugs, such as can't make a phone call, wifi doesn't work, micro sd card can't read,so we wish you to help us solve these problems,we think they are the problem of drivers,so I wish you to focous on it,thanks!
