So I have this problem where every time I wipe my cache phone's and do a factory reset, all of my apps that I had previously are restored and re-installed on my phone. After they are finished being re-installed a message comes up in the status bar the says "15 apps successfully restored." This is a problem as I am trying to do a clean/bare-bones install of CM. I was wondering if this is a feature of CM or perhaps recovery related, and how I can prevent this from happening.

Once u wiped and booted up, go into airplane mode, disable wifi and uncheck the following
Settings -> Privacy -> Automatic Restore
Settings -> Privacy -> Automatic Restore

Thanks for the response. I followed your instructions, however, and my apps are still getting restored.

To prevent auto restore, there must not be any form of connection between that.
