1. They were working things out with the merge. Just seen a tweet that functional builds for Cm for vibrant Cap and I9000 are working and on rom manager. should be able to take the latest one for your phone and have it work no problem.
2. I just installed on my cappy and didn't see the colour glitch you are referring to. Did you reboot and have it happen again??

1. Sounds good.
2. Reboot doesn't fix it

Hi,
just wanted to say:
I flashed the latest nightly (#7) without wiping data. works fine and i didn't have to do a titanium restore which takes ages for me because of all those crappy games i have ;)

edit: coming from the latest nighty of those times when i9000 wasn't officially supported by cyanogenmod...

Hi all,

The mod Works great.
Started off by flashing via odin to a rooted clockworkmod 2.2.1. (because I had 2.3.3. ROM).
Then downloaded and flashed CM7 through ClockWorkmod Rom Manager.
When the home key wasn't functioning I had to do the CM7 flash over again and after that everything worked fine.
But does anybody have problems using the standard wired headphones from samsung?
I have the i9000, and after the CM7 update the controls don't seem to work for playing music or even answering the phone.
Also when someone calls me when I'm listening to music They don't hear me. (I am using Meridian Media Player)
Maybe someone has an explanation for this?

Just flashed build 6. Works really nicely.

No issues with flashing. Coming from DarkyRom v10RC6 (based on samsung gingerbread rom). What I did:

2. I'm getting the crazy colour graphics glitch on boot (for a few seconds before the CM boot logo kicks in). Is this an issue? Or something I did?

From the installation instructions:

"
- First time flashing CM 7 to your Galaxy S (or coming from another ROM)?
Make sure you're running a Eclair/Froyo Firmware (2.1 or 2.2) and Eclair/Froyo Bootloaders!
"

Gingerbread =/ Froyo. You have the wrong bootloaders.
Pretty sure there are instructions earlier in the thread on how to go back.
That'll fix your graphical corruption on boot.

Hi,

Yesterday I flashed the Version cm_galaxysmtd_full-0.zip. Everything works fine, but My internal Memory is now 0 Byte??! I HAVE flashed a Android 2.2 before (with Odin and Repartition) and I don't have any Graphic Problems on the Bootscreen.

Can anyone help please?

Sorry my English is not very good.

Whats up with HSDPA?
Running a GSM GT-I9000 (15/5 nightly from sourceforge) here and i made sure that HSDPA was activated before flashing CM7 some time ago.
Now before flashing CM7 i had a max downlink speed of about 6Mbits/s (HSDPA, speed locked by my operator), while the most i can get out of it now is about 2.2Mbit/s (UMTS).
Also while using JVK modem i would never get the H icon to appear in the statusbar, only 3G, though using JVO i get the H icon roughly when i am in a area i had coverage before flashing (it's quite a bit more fickle though). The problem is that i'm still stuck with UMTS speeds.

Is this a known issue correlating to the RIL and/or 2G/3G problems, or something else?

Which is the correct? The latest one (with the number 7)? And there is some kind of changelog?
Sorry for this STUPID question, but I was used with the old nightly method..  :(

I put the nightly build onto the phone and have lost usb debugging, mass storage etc (everything)

Usb comes up as unknown device on two windows 7 laptops

it worked on both of them previously

have tried moving usb, restarting and starting,

Tried to put the drivers manually through device manager after installing sdk but it keeps saying drivers are not compatible.

Just cant figure it out!!!!! Cant even load froyo again because theres no drivers to connect so I can use odin!

Please help!

Hi,

Just did a fresh new install of this rom 7-05152011
Build GRJ22
Kernal 2.6.35.7-g7623ac5
baseband unknown
Android 2.3.4

Issues
- not detecting phone network (o2 Ire)
- Camera black screen in recording
- Videos - no video sound working
- Power cycling and have to reboot (5 times since install)

I have not installed the gapps yet as wondering what to do next, some of the other threads said there was no problems with the radio so .....

Any help with this would be great as using an old palm pre now for phone.

Cheers in advance

---

Also tried to flash google aps via rom manager and after roboot nothing happens >:¬{
---
Finally flashed gapps manually and worked like a dream, now the auto reboot has not happened since, but then have been playing with the phone a good bit so not too sure if its been resolved.  But the issue with not getting onto to cell network still stands, now probably need different gsm radio can anyone point me??  Everytime I do a search in available networks  get error while searching >:¬{

Hi Guys,

Just wondering does anyone have any suggestions or will I flash back to stock rom >:¬{

as an aside if i could get this to work in my tab this way I would be happy as its wifi only >:¬}

Power cycling still happening but not as much thought it might have been a faulty SD card, but then it works fine with the stock sammy rom so don't think thats an issue (???)

Say if I dont have one!

Is there a way I can put a clean backup in internal sd and use that as my backup file to recover from?

With respect, if you do not understand what an md5 file is for do you think you should dealing with updates through Cyanogenmod?

That said, the latest update is safe for download.

I have tried. Just cant figure it out!

Tried downloading them after searching for the nexus s drivers. That gets me a file called samsung usb drivers. From that it tells me through device manager install the adb android driver for samsung and that will work with cm7!

or get kies

or try the google usb driver file which keeps saying will not work with 32bit windows version I have which before I downloaded it it said it would!

The actual usb debuging doesnt come up in my notifications! Ive got both check boxes ticked.

It came for 1 min today and I got overly excited and plugged it into my main laptop and its dissapeared again!

I update my 0515 build with 07 nightly and i haven't any problem, md5sum is to control if you have a corrupted download. Sorry for my bad english :D
