animations run much faster than in 104, feeels like everything is much faster now.
no discontinuities, no nothing till now. battery looks good atm, using it 40 minutes constantly - 1% ... crazy ^^

Gmail seems to be very, very slow when sending email or refreshing, especially when on WiFi. I am now on #123, but it started a while ago, I cannot really tell, but on #104 it was noticeable. Sometimes it takes a minute just to send a short message. Anyone has this issue? Tried to delete Gmail data in Settings->Apps, it only got a tiny little bit faster.

Also, I have the overall feeling that network communication sometimes stalls. I might get a ,,network problem'' message, I might not. Happens to Opera, for instance, and I have the feeling that this is the case with Gmail too.

Has anyone else tried installing FuguMod or Glitch kernels on nightly 123? My phone won't boot with either of those kernels.

I was on Darky's JVS base (2.3.5) so I had Samsung's GB bootloaders, and both kernels wouldn't boot like that, so I flashed KC1 (Stock Froyo) and tried again with the same results.

Just wondering if something drastic changed to bork third party kernels. I had a search last night but didn't come up with anything of consequence yet.

EDIT: Another search this morning reveals that all custom kernels have been affected, so I guess I just have to wait until they get their butts in gear and rebuild their kernels. Awesome.

Woohoo! Radio.

I've been using Spirit Radio from the Market which has been great.

Last thing on my wishlist is TV out and Dock audio redirect. If I knew how to code them in I would... I read one of xcaliburinhand's posts that it is only three lines to add to the build. Signed up to Gerrit, and reading some documentation now... I wish I had coded more in High School.

This reappened for me.

The phone is sleeping mode, wifi is enabled.

I get a new notification (maybe google+ or email).

And the two led button is light.... waiting a minute, and not turn off.
Read the message and lock the screen and its turned off.

Maybe its a new future?(Can i turn off anywhere)  - Or its a bug?

Now i have 125 version

it's not a bug, it's a feature. if you want to disable them, turn them off under settings, CM settings, interface, LED notifications

No more BLN needed? Thank you for this "problem" !
I finally uninstalled NoLED and am happy as a clam.

Please do not fix this "bug", optional blacklight notification would be best :)

Edit: the mod answered my question

Thanks,

But how can be turn off?
Its now "unconfigured".

Need to configure evry app, or can be turn off this future everywhere?

If yes,can be in next nightly in default off this future? (Or a function button,to this disable)

Thanks :)

Hi! We finally have LED notifications on the Galaxy S! Great work! Thank you very very much!

...but... I came from Nexus One... and in the Nexus One we could choose the "color" and the "blinking speed". I understand we cannot have color on this device, but it would be nice to have the "blinking speed" option. That way we could distinguish the events. Look forward to find that option in future builds.

Also related to the button LED's, why can't I make the leds to light up in "Settings > CyanogenMod > Screen > Auto Backlight > Light Levels > Edit"?

Thank you once again, and keep up the excellent work!

Speaking of that, the option to have the LED pulse while the screen is on is still in the LED Notifications section under advanced. Unless that's something different, I imagine it shouldn't show up on Galaxy S devices.

the wording of the option doesn't actually have anything to do with pulsing (as confirmed by several people on gerrit). it more means "continue the alert even when the screen is on" but they won't change it because of all the translation stuff that's gone into it

Hi, I'm on Nightly 127 and I'm having a very weird problem.. Also happened in previous nightlies..

We all have the internal memory mounted as /mnt/sdcard by default which gives us about 5 GB of storage.. But that is not enough for me. I need to use my external sdcard which is mounted as /mnt/emmc. With this configuration everything works fine but the external sd card (mounted as /mnt/emmc) is not available to most Apps.. most Apps only see /mnt/sdcard...

So, I swaped the 2 mount points in "Settings > CyanogenMod > Applications > Use Internal Storage" (***)

Now the internal memory is /mnt/emmc and the sd card is /mnt/sdcard the way I wanted. Now all my Apps see the "mnt/sdcard" as the actual external SD card and I get 16 GB of storage. Perfect. But.. with this configuration, my Gallery "sees" most of my JPG's in DCIM/Camera as corrupted! The bottom part of the pictures appears gray!

To make it clear:

My sdcard pictures mounted on /mnt/emmc/DCIM/Camera appear fine
My sdcard pictures mounted on /mnt/sdcard/DCIM/Camera appear as corrupted

I tested the sdcard on my PC and it's NOT corrupted. I've run 2-hour write/read/verify tests! 2 times! Also formated the card several times in both the PC and the phone.

Anyone getting the same problem?

(***) The "Settings > CyanogenMod > Applications > Use Internal Storage" option is swaped .. When it says I'm using the External memory I'm actualy using the Internal one, and vice-versa!

don't flash your phone's bootloaders because of that. something did change that caused custom kernels to stop booting, i had issues with fugu 1588 and 1599, all because of this commit. adb logcat is pretty useful, helps a lot to track down what's causing the phone to bootloop. after seeing logcat, went to see changelog, found the commit, just reflashed cm again. booted fine. reflash custom kernel. bootloop. reflash cm. booted fine. bootloaders don't even come into place here, custom kernel is to blame. don't even need to search to reach that conclusion, if they (custom kernels) were working before #123; chill out when you see a bootloop, you went through some unnecessary steps, potentially dangerous as you know.

this is called sleep of death. happens to all of us, for now that's the price to pay for led notifications.

Check Settings > CM Settings > Sound > Quiet hours
Enable Quiet hours from 00h00 to 00h00, you'll have no led notifications. useful for when we sleep, no need to drain battery over some event when we're not even awake.

LED notifications are different from Zeldar's BLN, so don't refer to it as BLN. As of latest nightlies, they are automagically activated. If you want to configure other apps, check Settings > CM Settings > Interface > Led Notifications.

Market has constant crashes after a few seconds on nightly 128. I can't even do anything in the market. I can just open it and leave it for 5 seconds and it will crash.

nightly 129 doesn't even install.

I am going to back off to 127 as it seems others are having no troubles with it.

127 does the same. Market crashes all the time for no reason.
