Hi,

I'm new to Cyanogen and loving the mod so far - so pleased to have removed all the Sense crap and loving features like lockscreen gestures.

I am suffering with problem with email, gtalk and calendar updates not appearing on my phone.

I see an email (for example) appear on my PC and it can take anything from a minute to an hour to appear on my phone. If in this time I go into gmail on my phone it usually reports 'no connection' but I can see my data is there and functioning.

Is there any settings that might be causing this or any debug I can do?

Thanks,

Jynx

I had this issue on C7 rc2 as well.

For some reason the account settings had changed when I upgraded from rc1.

Check under settings -- accounts and sync -- then select your Google account.  Make sure that the box is checked to sync gmail, contacts, calendar etc

Yes ditto! Seeing the same.  There is some kind of delay which was not apparent with stock Sense.
I've got Wi-Fi set to never sleep policy which is how I had it before installing cm7 ?

Have you guys tried clearing the gmail data to refresh it? I've had similar issues but not exactly the same, doing this resolved mine.

Tried this before and unfortunately no change. I had the same issue on RC1.

It seems to me that when I turn on the phone, after it has been left a few minutes, the radio icons have gone from green to white/grey, this seems to mean that the connection to Google has been lost.
I'm guessing that this is why the push notifications do not get through??

Thanks
D

Well it seems all is working now, I think the clear data did actually fix it - I may have done a clear cache before - thanks :)

I don't have any problems with my connection to Google, ie my network icons are always green.
