I'm getting a bug where if "Windows Animations" in Spare Parts is set to "fast", this disables the old CRT style screen off animation regardless if the "Screen-off animation" is ticked or not. Is anyone else getting this too or is just me?

This has been the case since CM7 first came out for testing back in the time before the nightlies. I don't think they consider it a bug.

When you set screen animation too fast it basically does it faster than normal and you can't see it.
You would never have this problem on stock gb since spare parts is not part of stock rom

No, you're thinking of the "Off" setting. Setting the windows animation to 'fast' doesnt turn off all the other windows animations.

Even if you use stock gb rom and download spare parts from market, set it to fast and same thing will happen. It's not a cm bug but more so the feature it's not compatible with a faster screen animation.
