First time booting it takes my phone about 35 seconds. After that it is like 20 seconds. Sounds to me like you are  stuck in boot loop.

Sent from my Evo powered by CM7 stable

20 seconds? wow...guessing mine takes 3 or 4 minutes....it sits on the Android/skateboard screen for quite awhile.

What am I doing wrong?

I had the same issue when I tried to flash for the first time, did you select wipe you data and cache?  After I did that it loaded quite nicely.

Yep....I've never had it boot up that fast....heck it sits at the white EVO 4G screen for at least a minute and then another 1 or 2 at the Android on a skateboard screen.

I'm probably looking at a 4 minute boot time before the phone is actually booted up and reedy to use.

On the latest nightly and savage zen....
