How can I install / flash a Radio to my Wildfire.

Whenever I try to install a Radio Version from here via ClockWork Mod Recoverey it says "Installation aborted"
Actually I have the Radio Version 13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10 and CM 7.0.3 on my HTC Wildfire.

PS: Sorry for my bad English :/

I followed these instructions and used Android Flasher instead of ClockWork Mod to flash the radio.
You have to put your phone into fastboot, then connect usb, then run Android Flasher.

Hi I found the way to start the gps I installed from market "GPSLive!v1.5" and used the -trasmit on- button/option and the gps start to work. http://market.androi...kenbuzz.gpslive looklike the option to start the gps is a missing in this mod version
istalled this but can't find those options?

I already had the current Radio, so flashing didn't seem reasonable. I (finally) got GPS working using the free app "GPS Test" from Chartcross LTD. 1.) Enter the Settings Menu (Menu -> "Settings") 2.) "Clear AGPS" 3.) "Update AGPS" Done :)
Tried this, no change, it says it can see 5 satellites but can never "use them"

I have to admit I am getting really tired of the problems with CyanogenMod, if they had listed all the faults with it I would have stuck with my stock Rom, at least everything worked, don't get me wrong I relies they worked hard on this, but I came to android from a Windows Mobile phone and those custom Roms worked perfectly.

None of the proposed solutions seemed to work for me... at first I got no GPS icon even when enabled and having a GPS app trying to get a fix. Reflashed the radio (already had 20.10) and after a reboot it seemed to work (managed to fix the one time I tried, at least). After another reboot, again no icon, so I tried the "wipe the EFS" fix but still nothing... then I read about Google Maps which is supposed to work anyway, and infact it seemed to do something, and also seemed to unlock something since I managed to get the icon appear again in other apps. But now I get force reboots every time I use Endomondo, which is the only reason I care about GPS for.

Is this a problem in 7.0.3? Would updating to the 7.1 RC1 fix this, or is there no chance of getting GPS to work properly?

Problem: GPS does not work, anything ! no icon no nothing. Bluetooth and wifi works.
-------------------
1. THE GPS MUST BE ENABLED IN Settings - Location & Security - Use GPS (and enable Use wireless too for better accuracy).
2. IMPORTANT: THE GPS ICON ONLY SHOWS WHEN YOU START AN APP THAT REQUIRES GPS !
-------------------
On CM 7.1.0 rc1 buzz:
1. cleared the Dalvik cache (just because i've installed a new google apps pack thru Rom Manager and update.zip, btw i hate the new Market), don't know if it's important...
2. downloaded Android Flasher http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=794638  and radio 3.35.20.10 from http://wiki.cyanogen...pport_Downloads
3. extracted them in a folder that doesn't have spaces ! (android flasher gave me errors) on the root of a drive will be just fine (something like C:\radio )
4. started android flasher, marked Radio - Begin - Chose the radio file - wait for it... - done in a few seconds
5. reboot, GO OUTSIDE !!! (no, gps doesn't work inside houses, mine didn't even work at the window at least the first time), enjoy gps with stunning accuracy (just tested and omg it gave me 2-3 m accuracy with iGO, didn't test google maps yet, probably i won't)

I also have the gps fault on my phone have tryed to flash the radio but all i get is aborted with the following
amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported.  amend scripting was deprecated by google in android 1.5 it was necessary to remove it when updating to clockworkmod 3.0 gingerbread based recovery.  please switch to edify scripting to create working update zip packages.
anyone tell me what the prob is and how i can sort it please ....... many thanks in advance

So, You flashed  Radio_13.53.55.24H_3.35.19.25 over current radio_...20.10 ??
and then
you reflashed 19.25 with 20.10 again ?

I have GPS problem too, so I dont know what to do... Your way - Isnt it risky ?? It could damage my phone, couldnt it ?

its not possible to flash radio from the latest recoveries. you need to flash it in the fastboot menu.
you should have adb sdk installed

then just reboot ur phone into fastboot.

start adb
then unzip the radio.img frm the radio file zip
then type command
fastboot flash radio radio.img

It looks likes he is "reflashing". First he flashes to radio *19.25 then he reflashes to *20.10. I reflashed my phone like 5 times, nothing bad happened, but there is a certain risk. You must always make sure your battery is fully charged and your model number is wildfire A3333 (model number A3335 is as far as I know not suitable for flashing these radios).

Your right, but for people with troubles abd and fastboot here you can flash it using ROMManager:

You can also go to ROMManager >> All ClockwordMod Recoveries >> (install) 2.5.0.7 >> Reboot into recovery >> *now you can install radio from SD card*.
Only ClockwordMod recovery version 2.5.0.7 can install radio from SD. Later you can update your ClockwordMod to latest version again.

Go to: Settings>> About Phone : scroll down till you see Baseband version. Here you see your current radio version.
