@Wilb - Perhaps you're true. But I want to do it myself to better understand the whole process. In addition, I have some change in my version (GPS NTP server config, reduce locale set, etc.).
I'll check diff in my build against last LokX one.

Hi,
I build the android source and made the update.zip my self, I know it's not the same version as your ROM
But I had to do this cuz needed to change some of the APIs. But the problem is that the phone and wireless don't
work. I even installed the radio.img that you made available but still negative.
any Ideas?

I have a few questions before flashing:

• I would like to install cyanogenmod on my htc hero, but i would also like to install the google flash and the radio flash. But in what order do i install them?
  
• Are my contacts removed when i flash my phone?

So, i did the flash, but the market and all google things are gone? I go the google update, but how do i use it?

I just flash 6.0.0 test0 to my Hero

I think the 6.0 do support chinese( i am from HK) But since there are problem to show chinese even with the language setting. it show square on the last 4 language.

What is nighly?  is it the same as 6.0.0? but better?

I have recently flashed the CM alpha 6.0.0 ROM to my HTC Hero (GSM), and everything has been working perfectly, APART FROM the 'Camera' function, which is opening to a black screen  (i.e. I cannot preview the photo). Interestingly, when I try to take a photo, the phone DOES take the photo, and I can actually see the proper photo in the 'Gallery' (the proper photo, i.e. not the black screen). An identical situation is occurring with the 'Video Capture' function - there is a black screen (i.e. I cannot see what I am capturing), but the result shows up as normal in the 'Gallery'. Would anyone know the cause of and resolution to this problem? I would be extremely grateful to you if you could help me with this.

Not sure what's causing the problem but in the latest nightly build camera previews are working for both stills and video.

alpha version is the first nightly. To have a rom without bug, download the last nightly, actually 'cm_hero_full-124' or wait for a RC

A little question: if I install the last version of nightly, the OTA upload to the others version work? or i will need to reinstall the other future releases?

Just an other little things: the last version is fully functionnable?? or what's Bugs isn't fix?

OMFG your so awesome for this, this is the best ROM ive found for my HTC Hero, and i might just buy you a case of beer when you release a newer version =D
