Since Sony Ericsson's page for unlocking the bootloaders on their latest Android handsets is now live (and some of us have already completed the procedure), does this open the door for a CyanogenMod port?

If so, is there any way someone like myself who basically lacks any sort of programming ability can help?

If cyanogen comes to the sony ericson phones (expira play)I will get one. This is the one of the best things that any phone manfacture has done lately.

Hello,

I have a x10 mini with MiniCM-Port (CM6) and recently bought a Xperia Arc. The Arc is fine, but I'm missing a few features from the CM Mod, like the Power Control Button and the Dialer/Contacts app. I would gladly install CM on my Arc, but I think this might take a few weeks to go :/

I installed Widgetsoid 2.x and this works nearly (not 100% but close) as good as the CM Power Conrol widget, but the Dialer/Contact App is more difficult!

I really liked, that all my Contacts show the "Birthday" field, but on the arc (for some reason...) it is not displayed in the contact app. So I wanted to give the CM Dialer/Contact App a try, since I really enjoy it on my x10 mini!

Would someone be so nice, to send me the apk for this apps or give me a link, where i can download it (maybe there is a repository i missed...).

Thank you,
Linkin

edit: I already tried to download zip file from here, extract contact and phone app, but they didnt get recognised... :/

I'd love to see CyanogenMod7 on the Arc and a lot of people on XDA have the same need.

PLEASE!

Hi!

Recently I got Xperia arc. Its hardware is fantastic. It's light, the screen is big and the battery life is long. (I guess a new snapdragon does a good job.)

However, its software isn't good. I really want to use CyanogenMod on it :)

Cheers!

So there is now a thread over on XDA-devs in which a user named blagus will be attempting to port CM7 to the Arc.

If anyone can help in any way, please head over there and lend your support.

Hi,

I recently bought a Xperia Play, so I'm pretty new to the Android world.
A few days ago I flashed the HTC Legend from a buddy of mine with CM7 and I love it!

So after looking trough the board here I have 2 questions to ask:

1) In case the Xperia Arc port gets completed, will a port for Xperia Play be around the corner? Or are they even compatible ?

2) Is there a chance that the new Xperia 2011 devices get officially supported by CM ? Do they officially support new devices from time to time ? Or are these ~30 devices the limit ?

Thanks and keep up the great work !

Regards,
iCEQB

Hi!

did you try Dialer one as dialer? I recommend that one.

I don't find the CM Contact/Dialer apk in my data\app folder... therefore I unfortunately cannot upload it for you.
