I love my EVO and furthermore i love CM7 and am very grateful that its here for my phone and love the new features. One thing i was curious to see is what everyone favorite apps were such as SMS, Utilities, Contacts, etc.

Well, for music, I copied over Connected Media Player found on MotoBlur phones. It's still my favorite UI for a music player, and works quite well, though I do hope to find something a little better (Crossfade support)
For Messaging, I use Go SMS. Hands down favorite Messaging app. I also use SMS Popup as my SMS notifications.
I ditched ADW.Launcher for LauncherPro, which I prefer. I also Have Beautiful widgets installed for clock/weather/battery.
Still using the stock Contacts / Dialer. The Dialer isn't as bad as I thought it would look. I came from a MotoBlur phone before getting my Evo Shift, so I grew used to / loved it's interface. I miss MotoBlur's contacts and camera app's, but so far I haven't found a way to use those with CM7, and probably won't.
I'm playing around with other browsers, but I'll have to get back on which one I prefer.
Most everything else is stock.
As for additional applications, I use:
-Trillian for Instant Messaging. I've used Trillian for years, back when it was still in it's infancy.
-Pandora, since it's the best internet radio I can find, since Last.FM is no longer free.
-Watchdog, for task management. (It's not a kill all, but it makes a notification of when an app uses above a certain threshold, where I can then decide to end it or have an automated setting take place.)
I am looking for a few things though:
-A good file manager / Bluetooth transfer (Unless the stock file manager has this functionality, I've yet to have seen it.)
-A 1x1 widget/button for accessing the stock USB/wifi tether.
-A good desktop control app. I know there's a few out there, but I'm not sure which one works and which doesn't. It would also be kind of cool to just be a wireless keyboard/mouse control, sort of like Sony's Media control app, which I use on my Blu-Ray system.
