Try 'free' in terminal/adb shell.

Thank you very much to all the contributers. I used parts of Vermithrax advice using the latest nightly build (275) and the kernel boot-cm_2635.9_ds_32b-oc-uv-xtra-ram-fp-120310 as well as parts of Firerats script (fr-patch141-BETA3). I did mostly what Vermithrax did but my swap size is 32 MB and I am not using the facebook stuff. My G1 runs a lot smoother now. Can anybody tell what the advantage of JIT is? Does it make the phone faster or more responsive or is it slowing the phone down?
