Thank you so much for this. I spent around an entire day (starting all the way from unlocking the Bootloader to getting out of a Bootloop) and I can finally enjoy the ecstasy of using CyanogenMod :D

Thanks for this.
I had boot freeze and device not found etc.
Used yr link to http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=905003 and then that link to
Get stock 1.32 PD98IMG.zip ROM.
Put this ROM in my goldcard replacing the original PD981MG and now it all sings.
Great info. after a few days chasing other threads getting nowhere.

Thankyou! I had installed CM7 last summer and all had been sweet for ages. Lastweek the phone just went blank after ending a call. It awoke when I plugged in the charger. Then last night after a switch off for 2 hours the phone went into a bootloop. I backed up the photos and then followed this post, it needed a re-install. Im very glad it didnt get any more complicated than that!

REsolved by taking clock work recovery to do update via SD card, then directing manually where CM7 was located. got it all working..

CM7 is very touch responsive compare to normal 2.3.3 GB Android. Happy so far..
