Wildfire 2.2 S-OFF with alpharevX

im trying to s-off my tmobile htc wildfire S running boot 1.08.000 is this possible and can i root it, been trying for 5 days now, having no luck need help plz,and im running droid 2.3.5

this method is only for standard wildfire users. you can still get an *unlocked bootloader* over at http://htcdev.com/bootloader/ but thats the only way without a xtc clip. bear in mind that when that is done it will still say your s-on but *unlocked* will be on top of your bootloader and you will be able to root and flash custom recoverys and roms. But, the radio and sim lock partitions will remain locked. but if your only looking to root this should be sufficent B)

to work with s-off and all hacking stuff u need android drivers installed.
done on my wildfire :)

I have htc wildfire with S-ON, and hboot 1.01.001..android version 2.2.1..
My mobile software is way too slow, and i want to upgrade it to android 2.3.3 gingerbread ..
so whats the proper guide line to do this.
