98 ... makes my screen's colors negative. It's truly bizarre. Going back to 97! Cheers! :) And as always thanks for the awesome rom.

Nightly 97 is indeed good, and I love the new lockscreen. Nice update to the camera too. I have been experiencing some problems with my Bluetooth headset though, anyone else having trouble? The headset beeps on pickup and hangup, but sound comes out the phone.

I have been having this same problem. I thought it was my headset because it was the cheapest Motorola I could find, however, this makes me think otherwise. I'm on build 100 now, so far so good (except for bluetooth of course). Additionally I stopped using ADWlauncher that comes with the rom and moved on to LauncherPro Plus. I like it a lot better and it also adds a few sense-like widgets which are always welcome in my book

Brtt, you should also try GoLauncher. It runs great on CM and also adds nice widgets, tons of themes, application drawers, and more.

Speaking of launchers, I feel like it is time for Cyanogenmod to consider putting togetheer a team to make a new OSS launcher. ADW is so old and rather glitchy these days.

Also, I hope the Bluetooth regression is fixed when 7.1 stable is released, supposedly in the next few days.

So, this nightly build #100, is this based off of the Froyo or GB Kernel? I've been running RevNumbers' D2 GB ROM and was looking to update to nightly #100. Do I need to sbf back to froyo? Or am I good to install #100 over my current version?

Thanks guys (and gals),
Kieldar

Since you have to SBF back to Froyo, I assume CM7 for the Droid 2 is based off of Froyo's kernel (2.6.32.9).  You will need to SBF back to froyo; the complete installation instructions are here:

Sorry to bring this up again, but it doesn't look like USB tethering works in nightly build #103. I was hoping we could get some productive discussion going regarding getting this feature implemented. Is this forum the best venue or is there a mailing list that would be more appropriate?

This website seems to indicate the RNDIS driver is no longer used by the Droid 2 kernel:
http://code.google.c...es/detail?id=32

can someone verify that this is the case?

can anyone point me toward what needs to be fixed to get this working?

Thanks.

I'm on 103, and I can confirm that USB access to my memory card isn't working, it says "The USB connection cannot be changed to Memory Card Access" - anyone know of a fix?

I will note that on #100 myself, I did notice last night USB access was a bit finicky. It didn't report connected but was charging. I just unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked.

Maybe the issues starts there?

I'm curious, what is the process to file an issue/bug for nightlies?

I went to CM7 a while ago for my Droid2, and have one of those extended batteries.  CM7 nightly (now 103) refuses to recognize the battery capacity (even after battery stats wipe) .. the batt% will go to 1 and stay there for DAYS before the Droid2 turns off due to the battery *actually* being dead.

Is it enough to report the bug in this forum, or is there a site to report issues?  (I remember reporting something a long while ago, and was admonished not to report bugs on nightlies.)

Does everyone have the same problem where you can not make or receive a call? Everything works fine except for the fact there's no data connection? Unable to take the device out from airplane mode? I'm using nightly build 106. Builds 98-106 have this problem.

I haven't had call issues but the radio has been buggy as anything on the builds you indicated, along with sleep problems.

Have you tried SBF'ing back to stock Froyo and then reflashing the nightly? Obviously, after reflashing I'd suggest clearing... Welp, just about everything. Dalvik, cache, stock reset, battery stats, etc... I used to have troubles with my GPS, and one of the troubleshooting guides had suggested formatting your SD card as well--not sure how much could actually be on your SD card that could flub up any of the ROM's activities, but it couldn't hurt, right?

I'm currently on 105, and I haven't run into any issues with anything. I'm actually getting MUCH better battery life after switching from Liberty 2.0.1, too.

I've tried everything you've mentioned above except sbfing back to stock Froyo and reflashing a nightly. At this point I guess that won't hurt since this is my gf's droid 2. Thanks for the tips I will let you guys know how it went.
