What didn't work ? unless you tried flash_image command in cmd without the adb shell before or something.
the command itself worked but after a restart nothing changed as if nothing were flashed, especially the radio.

Well now everything it's working; i'll do a backup and try againthe radio only

I couldn't flash the radio successfully until I turned off CustomMTD in case anyone else is using that.

Gave thus MFM app a go.
Although it lacks the UI updates of interval memory freed and the interval timings for cleaning memory which AMM provides - it really does seem to keep my memory high.

However how do I actually know its working, I mean theres no UI which illustrates it killing or freeing memory.
Saying that it does keep my memory above 22mb at all times.

Nice link dude

Ah forgot to mention the boot settings working, your asking prompted me to try copy the apk to /system/app it worked! Settings survived a reboot. Mfm takes up just 29KB on system, uses no memory, and no ads, amm uses 3-5MB memory, IF i remember right?  B)

Anybody having issues with all audio playing from the main speaker, even when headphones installed on MT3G build 235?

edit:  audiofix.zip fixed my issue.

The only way i can see it working is in the reaction times, after switching it on, if your machine is runnin fast, it can be hard to notice.

I like how quitely it does its job, it behaves like system settings, no frills, no hidden adbombs.

You runnin the new radio dude?

I here ya man, it seems to be doing the do as quietly as a system tool - s'niceeee

As for Radio, I been reading - as good as it sounds, I think I've been reading that it will mess up my fastboot functionality within my A-RA 1.7.... & that we can only use the new radio with a EZTerry Kernal? For that alone, I'm left a little sceptical!

Is my above understanding correct?

I really prefer using Stock CM Kernals....

I'm guessing you're using the new Radio/Spl stuff?

Hook me up a simple step guide on how to do this on my 32b Dream - I will give it a shot.

No, you can only use it with kernels patched for (and built with) support for the new radio.

Since I developed the patch yes my kernel was the original, but that isn't stopping you from releasing a patched cm kernel.

If you are waiting for me to do it, I did yesterday release the cm6.1rc1 packaged with a pre-patched cm kernel, and if I find some time tonight I'll pack up a cm6 nightly kernel with the patch into an any kernel installer.  I can try to do the same for the pershoot kernel. (This is a time issue not an ability issue for me)

I was wondering that myself. Hoping that he builds support into the nightlies/final releases. I'm not willing to risk it until it's "officially" supported. Don't want to have to re-flash kernels every time I update.

Totally agree! But there is only the official Tmobile SPL ... ( no fastboot or Restricted )
The kernel should be different for those who choose whether or not the new radio!
It should not be easy to implement ...

But like you, I'll wait a statement from Cyanogen Team before starting ...

Is that after receiving a call or all the time?

After the effort you've obviously made to develop the patched kernel, I personally think it's asking a lot for you to also start packaging it in the rom!  It takes all of 20 seconds to flash a new kernel before rebooting.

i know, i had to reflash that ezterry kernel, and it took up like 7 seconds of my life <_<
that 15MB of extra RAM just isn't worth it

+1 I totally agree. Mr. Ezterry if they have a problem with your kernel and work well thats their loss. Like invis said 20 seconds. And thank you very much for all the hard work you've done I dont think there is anything that could help the G1 more than extra ram
