Yup, we going to get busybox, wireless, gps, bluetooth, and other common problems.
I noticed titanium backup downloads the latest busybox, i *think* it worked the last time busybox was missing, no way this time.
Still it's great fun, i keep and rename any builds which are good on my device, and delete the ones which don't work so wel, so i have a small collection of recent good roms to fall back on.
Nand restore is failing for me now, so my only option is to flash a different rom to get out of trouble. Anyone know of a way to make a flashable image from a working rom?
This latest build is going very well for me, haven't checked what's on/off yet, off to find out, back later.

Good thought, but I keep that setting off. Google has enough of my data as it is, they don't need any more.
I'm wondering if CM keeps some of its data stored on the sdcard instead of in /data, or somewhere else that doesn't get erased when you wipe?
Or, it's possible that your phone does the Google backup dance whether you want it to or not atm, that would be sad.

You have the setting off, did you check if google has kept a history of your settings, therefore it it still restores from a former backup?

I agree, this is sort of fun. You really have to have OCD and the right mindset though. Today's build seems to have a very soft notification volume on the MT3G, but you just laugh it off and go back to clicking refresh on the nightly page ;-)

Why are there multiple versions of the nightlies for one day? Just multiple uploads of various fixes?

I'd guess they probably started out as nightlies in the old days, now they're nearly hourly's, lol.
We're getting all the latest fixes and code, at the risk of dicovering bugs, unless i'm mistaken.

That's what I always thought they were. I've been sticking with CM5 cause I ran into a nasty bootloop with CM6 RC1 and a broken recovery from flashing the Clockwork recovery from the program included in CM6.
Luckily I still had the original SAPPIMG.nbh file on my sd card and I was able to fastboot that and get back to my nandroid!

well I got busybox working at least.
If no one can hear you, try pushing the audiopara file from rc1

Remember these are more of a beta then the 6.0 RC1 released to the public is. Not everything is going to work & very possible that yesterday something worked & today that same thing doesn't work. Can't complain when the public technically isn't supposed to be using these.

Now i reflashed cm_dream_sapphire-07142010-171412.zip and wifi is ok!

Yep same for me. It would authenticate, connect, and drop repeatedly.

yeah FWIW 07142010-171412 hasn't shown any wifi problems for me but YMMV.

I think radio is a matter of preference. Some people get better performance with newer radios, some with older. I prefer to use the latest radio but I don't see much of a difference between them. In any case afaik the mod will work with any radio that's appropriate for your hardware.

I've been using 2.22.23.02 with no issues since a few days after it came out.

Currently running "cm_dream_sapphire-07142010-171412" without any wifi issues - system is fast and stable and the ADW Launcher stays in memory 99% of the time. no black screens but there is a slight delay ONLY when opening programs that require root... after that delay, the program runs correctly as it should.
Google ION/Sapphire 32B (sig has full handset details)
Compcache OFF
JIT OFF (with it turn ON, things were a bit laggy and ADW launcher was getting booted from memory)
Surface Dither OFF
VM Heap Size 24m
ADW Wallpaper Hack ENABLED
ADW Screen Cache ON
ADW System Persistent ON
I've been checking out the "nightlies" as they are released and have had random issues here and there with each one except "cm_dream_sapphire-07122010-154301" and "cm_dream_sapphire-07142010-171412" which I am currently running with out an issue yet.

Can do a straight flash over the first one (after a backup of course) but there is a possibility of legacy issues from the previous rom, is usually just neater(read tidy not cool) to do a wipe so it's a fresh install when doing nightlies.
I'll keep that in mind. Has anyone had success with titanium backup and the nightlies? Google's backup option takes a while to come together it seems...

I just noticed something new with the latest nightly. I don't seem to have any useful shell commands. I run adb shell and type in things like ls, bash, which, locate, find, mount... all not found. I do have pwd, sh, cd and echo. I haven't tried anything else, but it seems like the path isn't getting set correctly. Either that or there are a bunch of missing tools. Does anyone else have this issue or some insight?
# echo $PATH
echo $PATH
/sbin:/system/sbin:/system/bin:/system/xbin
[EDIT]
No swapon either, which is what I fired up adb to play with.

can't seem to replicate this on 07142010-171412
