If I do a fresh flash with the nightly, should I then avoid also flashing with the gapps from this site? Since it says 0817 I would guess its older than the included FRG33?

If flash over current Rom no need to flash gapps again unless new gapps is available.
If wipe then u have to flash gapps after flashing cm6 Rom.

is it just me or does wifi not work..? latest nightly... I wiped all the data to see if that's the problem but I guess it's not.
Since NB 0824 or so, I noticed that I could not connect to my WiFi at all (WPA2-PSK, hidden SSID, 802.11g/n). WiFi works perfectly if I flash a different kernel (WM from 0810) on top of CM. It's an acceptable workaround for me; but I am curious if there has been a kernel regression somewhere.
I tried unhiding my SSID and now CM NB 0902 connects to my WiFi; but disconnects every hour or so, and there is a message that says "Error". Haven't been home to try out 0903 yet; but everything was working perfectly before around 0824. I've wiped cache, dalvik, and done full wipes. Other ROMs work fine with my WiFi.

I have seen the hidden SSID issue mentioned in many ROMs/kernels. I believe it's related to an updated wifi driver (and I've seen where some kernel developers are reverting to the old driver). Something may be able to be changed in the code, but I'm not sure what would be involved. But the story is that the hidden SSID issue is widely reported. Not sure about your hourly disconnects.

Has anyone noticed the lack of the H status bar icon for data?
Just flashing latest now, but only got the 3g icon with the last nightly...
Edit - Back now on 171259

I thought it was just me, but yeah, I'm having more touch accuracy (or even detection) since flashing this morning.

So if im understanding this correctly, FRG33 is already included in the nightlies but still only shows as FRF91?

Yes. It happened in cm5 also when Eclair release was bumped up but cm5 still show lower release. So long as I got the goodies, even it shows FRF00 I am satisfied :-)

Wow, I'm not sure when this happened, but there are a ton of new wallpapers. CMWallpapers about doubled. I'm really liking the new pack-man one.
