For all nightlies since the 23rd I haven't been able to connect using wi-fi to my D-Link router.  Flashing any nightly since then causes my Nexus to attempt to connect several times before eventually giving up or failing completely.  Flashing back to 08/23 restores the ability to connect to my network.  Is there a default setting that was reset or changed that I am overlooking or was there a code change involving basic wi-fi?

Yes, same weird issue for me as well...
Here is a logcat extract if it can help someone to debug it:

Odd, stable should work everything right?
Ndrive GPs doesnt connect, and with 27 nightly it works like a charm...
So far 27 nightly has been the best CM6 version for me...

I guess 27/8 nightly IS the Stable version, that's what THIS thread says in its title

Hi, something really weird is happening to me with the nightlies...

I have a very crappy 1gb data plan... i ALWAYS use my phone in E, because of the battery life... i flashed 3 versions of nightlies and all of them make my internet very slow... so i decided to flash CM6 and it works pretty fine! :S...

With Nightlies: my download speed is (about) 4 KB/S
With CM6: my download speed is (about) 11 KB/S

I want to know if theres any kind of setup for this to happen?

There are settings for GPRS/E/3G in the build.prop file that is installed onto the phone. This could cause better (or worse) performance depending on your location. It could also just be your carrier increasing bandwidth/coverage so ymmv

Is there a way to have the cm6 build.prop on the nightlies?

Did a full wipe and flashed last nighly : doesn't work.
Did a full wipe and flashed official Froyo : works perfectly.
Did another full wipe to reflash last nightly : doesn't work.

So the problem is CM6. I add a look at logcat, but nothing revelant. It connects, in USB or wifi, but nothing runs through the phone neither on the logcat...  :(
I just test right now and it's ok for me. I connect my Ipad in tethering and works fine. I can surf, read my emails... My connection between the ipad and the nexus one is in wifi wpa2psk. Don't know what to say. I'm using the 0830 nightly. My carrier is SFR.

I made few tries with different kernel (stock, pershoot, wildmonk) and with different radio (4.06 and 5.08). But still the same : works perfectly with stock Froyo and not with CM6  :(  .

Would someone have another idea please ? I really don't know what to do now...

Clockwork Recovery - wipe dalvik cache: Dalvik cache gets wiped, but there is also a message accompanies it, something like "failed to mount  /data/mnt/....."(forgot the exact string). But it also says DC wiped.
Amon RA: No such message DC wiped.
Does anyone know what's different?

Not sure if this is old. But, someone mentioned this on another forum. I checked my phone, same problem.

No voice response when using phone commands to dial thru bluetooth.

Anyone getting FC's when taking pictures with the camera?

It sometimes hangs after taking a pic, then FC's then when you try to get back to the camera, it errors saying it cannot connect to the camera.

Rebooting is the only way to fix.

I've had this happen on more than one occassion.

Also, it would be GREAT if the devs could add in the new Google Voice apk with the GV widget from the leaked G2 ROM... I installed it this morning and it's running without issue so far.

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes by asking this here... Just curious to know what happened to all the threads that related to the 6.0 RC3 build that were in the root of this topic. I'm guessing they were all erased following the released of 6.0 N1 Stable? I wasn't part of the original influx of nightly build adopters, but enjoyed having a place to discuss RC3 bugs.

Should I just move into downloading/testing/troubleshooting the nightlies if I want to continue contributing to this thread?

I know I'm fairly new to my Nexus, and therefore to Cyanogen, but I've been avoiding the "stable" 6.0 release due to the number of data network/wifi problems people have been having...

Please advise where I can be of the most use, and if I've posted in err, I trust this current contribution is polite enough that you can suggest an alternative forum in this site or even another there my efforts will be most appreciated.

Thanks

Direct quote from Ciwrl

Since CM 6 stable is out, all RC topics have been merged back into the stable section.

Experimental section will house the Nightlies and Cyan's RC release posts only, until the next round of Experimental releases (6.1). This way, that section will remain less cluttered, making it easier for the next wave of testers.

No topics have been deleted, all are just relocated to Stable section
