My GPS navigation won't work for me at all. It just stays stuck on 'Searching for GPS...'
Anyone know how to fix this?

Have you been able to get a lock with alternate apps like GPS Status? You can try reseting the gps in that app as well as downloading the agps data to help for faster locks.

I'm running 7.1 RC1 as well, and I am getting intermittent GPS locks.

I had the same problem in stock Gingerbread 2.3.3, but running GPS Status and resetting the AGPS state before each time I wanted to use a GPS tracking app provided an effective workaround.

Stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 resolved the issue for me and since CyanogenMod 7.1 is supposed to be based on 2.3.4 I would have thought that it would have resolved the problem as well, but unfortunately not.

Is this planned to be fixed before the final release of 7.1?

Thanks.

I've noticed on 7.1RC1 that my GPS doesn't lock very quickly and is almost always off (by an unsual 1700meters consistently). I believe I am operating on the 5.12 Radio update. Just cleared cache & data on Maps, rebooted to recovery and cleared cache & dalvik, still have the same issue.

5.12 has been known in the past to cause issues with some phones. I would try downgrading to 5.08 and see if the problem persists.

Thanks man! I just got my GPS working following the link. I am very HAPPY!!!!!!
It just couldn't lock onto anything! It was really pathetic. Now i have to figure out why the haptic feedback stops from time to time HMMMMM.
