Hi,

Just recently flashed my SGS with CM7 and I am enjoying it so far.
However I would like to uninstall or disable some of the standard features such as the message and file manager programmes in order to have only Handcent and Astro.

Unfortunately I cant figure out how to do that?

I have also come to terms with the fact that contacts cannot be merged - however I have not yet found an easy way to send existing contacts to my google account.
All accounts are set to sync automatically and it does.

Is there any easy solution, or would I have to send every single contact from my phone to my gmail account, and add them?

Edit: How do I add more programmes to the dockbar without closing it. I've seen pictures of it with 5 programmes.

and I have had problems with the "nearby" function in Google+ with CM7 - have anyone experienced the same?

Thanks in advance

Removing apps: http://wiki.cyanogen.../wiki/Barebones
Merging contacts: Contacts app > select contact > menu > edit > menu > join
G+ location: no issues
Export contacts to Google: Contacts app > menu > export (Individual not available); send exported file to pc, and upload to google.com/contacts
ADW: Is all drag an drop, anything and everything in that dock can be replaced. Make sure to have on mechanism set to open full app drawer (ie swipe up/down/gesture)

Hi,

Thanks a lot.

I found the Barebones thing by my self, but I must have overseen the Mms.apk - if that is the standard message app for CM7.1?

I spend some hours looking around without any luck. Especially on the contacts merging part.
The thing is the "join contacts" is not there when I press the menu button - I've looked everywhere trying to find a solution without any luck.
