So.. did i understand it right that the 2gb internal space consists of the fast oneNAND and contains the datadata partition?
Your wrong; the fast NAND has "only" 170Mo.

Okay.. i do have about 120 apps (including the pre-installed ones) installed.. but i have around 1,5gb free on the 2gb partition, that's a bit annoying since the internal "sd" is full.. and i'd like to move all the apps to the 2gb partition. ;)
It's not internal 2Go partition which is full but the 170Mo one. You could move all apps to the 2Go partition but it will slow down your system.

I made a "new"  DataFix_29032012v2.zip for the new kernel naming convention in init.d ...

i couldn't really find a documentation about the partition setup of the sgs.. so i'd be happy about a link or some more informations about that.
You could try the "mount" command in a terminal emulator (or through adb).

Your script is too bad...
If u want a good fix for datadata on cm9
Flash that in recovery...
I have 1.7 gb in datadata now and work fine..
http://code.google.c...&q=#makechanges

Mount datadata in recovery before flash the fixe
Unmount datadata when the fix is flashed..

If u want remove the fix just re-flash
Yes, you are right! I have 1,6G free too!

Thx, my Linux-knowledge is very little.. so even the output of that is quite complicated hehe.
I just thought that, because you always talk of partitions, that the actual memory-chip is only one or two (with 8, or 2+6gig) which is partitioned.
So the ~170Mo is an actual physical chip.. does this work the same way on the samsung stock roms?

You're right : the 8Go chip is partitionned and the 2Go+6Go partitions are on this chip.

There's no "Low memory" problem on Samsung Roms so it should work another way than CM based ones ... ;)
