Due to recent developments for the HP Touchpad is there any chance you can create a version of Cyanogenmod for a HP Touchpad?

Thanks!
Dom

Looks like the $99 touchpad is more than a rumor:

I ordered a TouchPad, pretty much just because I knew someone might port Android to it.

Do you think they should find some way to put android on an HP Touchpad? I, like many other, bought a Touchpad since HP decided to liquidate their stock of tablets. However, WebOs is pretty half-baked for a tablet, and I would love to have Honeycomb or even Ice Cream Sandwich on it (when it comes out). Is anyone else interested?

I would love a port for this too, but there's some serious technical issues that need to be solved first.

I've heard that there was a team that managed to get 2.2 AOSP ported, so I guess it's only a matter of time before they write the appropriate kernel for cyanogenmod, but don't hold your breath because it'll be a while.

I heard from @jbruchon on twitter (one of the members of the touchdroid project who is now leaving it) that some team has got cyanogenmod working on the Touchpad. Can anyone here confirm this, or is he just stirring up trouble before he leaves his team behind? I would have thought that it would take much longer to get android working on the touchpad so when I hear that a team may already have a working port on there I have to question that :S

Btw, can we have a subforum for the Touchpad?
