This is weird, I take a picture with the flash on and my phone turns completely off. To where I have to turn it back on. It also happens when I use the "Torch" app. I am using the 7.1.0.0 RC1, has this happened to anyone else? I really would like a fix or even a work around. Thanks in advanced.

Same problem here. I can't find anything relating to the problem. Just updated to the newest nightly build and the problem still persists.

I went to a completely different ROM and it does the same thing. Strange...

Did you completely reformat your phone? Or restore it from a backup? I'm thinking a reformat is what's needed, but I'm trying other options before doing that.

I did it from a backup. I have no luck in finding anything about this issue

Bad news, guys.
I googled for this problem and it seems, that this behaviour is caused by a defect led light.

Some people wrote, that you can find the flash in ebay, but be careful if you replace it on your own.

I would revert to stock rom and send it to HTC for repair.

Strange. I had a similar issue. Would turn off when the camera flash went off, and also when using the LED flashlight on the max setting (didn't turn off on the normal setting). I called warranty, and they gave me a new battery, and everything seems to be OK now.
