I cant acces my sd card while on cw recovery.
Im using lightning rom now and it mount my sd properly on J:
To acces the sd while in rom i do it in external_sd folder.
I just flashed the CM Rom and it installed from sdcard/update.zip that is actually my phone memory
so i just got the blue driod on skate loop, just that installed.

So i need help to mount or acces my sd properly on recovery to flash properly CM Rom
or CM will come in a odin mode installation?

I installed lightning rom after a brick, because they got a .md5 install file
only way i can install rom´s without acces to my sd, like now.
Im running a 1Gb sd. Im on SGS2.

Please i need help.

hey, guess what. /sdcard IS your "sd card". there is no need to access your EXTERNAL sd card, which is why the OS has always called the internal "/sdcard" and "SD Card" respectively (in both stock Samsung and CM7)

update.zip is in the root dir of sd card.
in CWM i just go to apply update from ur sd card
and file cannot be found.
recivery just not recognize my sd card.
i ill move the update.zip to my phone root dir
so it cant install from phone drive right?
it needs a sd to host the file right?

just done it again, done the "apply /sdcard/update.zip" 3 times before reboot
and got 10x CM mod 7 blue android + skate logo loop, and still counting

I need a way to flash it with odin or a way to /sdcard/update.zip be mount on real sd card.

omfg... YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY IS THE SD CARD. THE REMOVABLE EXTERNAL SD CARD IS NOT THE SD CARD THE INSTRUCTIONS REFER TO.

PUT IT ON YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY
INSTALL FROM THERE
IF YOU ARE GETTING BOOTLOOPS IT IS BECAUSE YOU DID NOT FACTORY RESET BEFORE INSTALLING

Damm, youu keep mocking me...
I tought was not possible install the rom from a drive that is the location of the installation
And didnt have done the wipe factory before.
Anyway worked now, there will be improvements on release version?
5 minutes of use and i missed the press numbers and get contacts on dialer
and the turn off data network on power button.

Anyway worked now, not good as I heard but its probably because the early version.

I Had the same Prob. and Kaik is right.

Try to Flash the Stock Firmware via Odin,

in my case i did put the .zip in the internal AND external sd

So if you cant find your external, simply use the internal sd.
