Always create a Nandroid backup before just to be safe.
All boot animations were tested on my HTC Dream/G1 & should work on most hvga devices(320x480 screen resolution)

To install:

adb push C:\(file location)\bootanimation.zip /data/local/

or
place bootanimation.zip on root of sdcard
& in Terminal type:

su <ENTER> cp /sdcard/bootanimation.zip /data/local/ <ENTER> reboot <ENTER>

Download- HTC Magic Boot Animation
Download- CM6 Halfpipe Heaven
Download- CM6 #2 Pencil
Download- CM6 Cryptic Letters
Download- Blurred Vision
Download- Blurred Vision 2
Download- White Fire

It loops on the DNA strand

Only pixelated in the preview, not in the boot.

That's exactly what I was going for with this one. I have a couple other fancier cyanogen boots but there a little on the big size. I'll probably release once I get them down in size.

well i was wondering if you could help me!
im making a boot animation and i have it working but when it is playing part1, im assuming, it keeps flashing a white screen. dont know why? have you ever got that?

my desc.txt is as follows

320 480 15
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1

I have had that happen before. Does it play through part0 then flash on a white screen or just boot your splash screen then flash white? What program are you using to create & edit your desc.txt file?

plays through part0 and flashes a white screen on and off when playing part1, in other words it plays part0, then plays part1 flashes a white screen, plays part1 and flashes a white screen etc.

im using notepad++

Did you create the desc.txt file yourself or take it from another animation? If you did it yourself I would suggest taking it from a boot you know works. I have run into this problem before as well creating my own txt file in notepad++ but if I use one from a working boot it will work. I have tried looking for an explanation but haven't found one as of yet. If you still can't get it going you can PM me your bootanimation & I'll see if I can get it going & PM you back the animation & how I got it going.

i did use a desc.txt file from a working boot. i will extract one from yours to see if it makes a difference, if not expect a PM
