I am running the 2.3.3 OS and I definitely have a problem.

I am currently using this guide. http://wiki.cyanogen...<br /> <br /> After I fork the children, I cant get any further. Its a real american tragedy.

That method is for 2.2. To root 2.3 you've gotta follow the instructions here http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1255474 to downgrade your hboot and revert to 2.2 and then you can root 2.2 and install a custom recovery and flash CM.
