Hay,
When the phone connects to bluetooth first and then I start WAZE or some other GPS navigation app.
I get GPS hiccups,  what I mean is that the GPS keeps loosing the fixation.
When I first start the app and only then the bluetooth, the GPS functions correctly.
The only way to get the GPS work properly again is to reboot the device.
Any one else has this problem?

Same problem here. I can replicate problem switching mobile data on/off. When I switch it off after few seconds satnav says there is no gps fix and when I turn mobile data back on satnav gets gps fix after few seconds. I have noticed as well the gps doesn't start with gps apk but when I restart apk the gps gets fix like in 2secs.

Try the gps lib I've attached here: http://code.google.c...ail?id=3906#c39

Let me know if it helps. It's the stock gps lib from HTC Gingerbread ROM.

It looks like problem on startup is fixed but it still has a problem to get gps location while on the phonecall or no mobile reception. I'll keep on trying. thanks kallt_kaffe ;)

It was too early to celebrate, this afternoon I took my phone for a ride and it lost GPS after 10min driving and I couldn't get it back to work. After few hours I was driving back home and no troubles at all. Only it lost GPS for time I was talking over the phone. It looks like nothing has changed.

The included driver with CM7 has been built from source using Qualcomms opensourced code. The one I suggested is the binary "stolen" from HTCs Gingerbread release for the Desire. For me using the HTC version solves the random reboots I get using the version that is build from source. We've had similar reboots problems on the ZTE Blade platform that was finally solved by using propriertary libs.
