These weekend I installed CM 7.1.0 RC1 on my Desire (GSM - Amoled).
But I run into a force close shortly after every launch of the Market. So can't install apps from market.
Tried clearing cache, overwriting market with the manual market.apk. Tried wipe in recovery and reflash of the zips. So far no solution.
So what more could it try, that I have thought of before?
Or did you have the same, and found a solution to this?
I'm happy to hear whatever input about this which I can find.

I had this problem for the longest time with cyanogen I raised a bug report about it too. It was because I was restoring my applications after upgrading my cyanogen I formatted and did a new cyanogen without restoring any apps using a backup app and it worked fine I haven't had problems since.

go to Settings > Language & keyboard > Language > English (US). Select it again if that was already the selected language.
This will rectify the problem

I have the same problem on the same version (7.1 RC1) and the above didn't help. Tried both English (US) and several other language options, trying fixing permissions, tried clearing data/cache of the market and rebooting the phone multiple times. Nothing has helped so far.
What should I be doing?
