Wifi signal wery bad i cm7

In miui signal i recive from my wifi never went past half signal strengh even in same room as router. Cm7 never get past 1 dot in the statusbar. In my basement i wont even get a signal. With darkyrom i had half strengh there and full on the same floor as the router. Can i fix this?

Try:
Settings -> Wireless & network -> Wi-Fi settings -> menu; Advanced -> Regulatory domain -> 14 channels

I've experienced the same problems with wifi and doing the above helped resolve them. Please report back if it worked...
