Android Market Crashes

Hi there,

after a new installation of CM7.1 via the recovery method, the Andrid Market keeps hanging every time it's started. Right after the EULA.

I've cleaned cache and app-data and formatted the SD-card. Nothing seems to help.
Do anyone have a suggestion as to what could resolve the situation?

Do I need to provide more details? How do I do that?

Heya Fredrik,

I just switched over to cyanogenmod last night, and found it to be absolutely stunning. :)

Anyway, I hit a similar issue yesterday as well; every time I opened Market it would force close/crash out on me.

Changing the language for the keyboard to English (United Stats) under Language & keyboard settings fixed it for me though.

Try it out and see if that works out for you.

you have done Davilk cache after installation?

why do CM installs default the language to this English (HD)
dont get it, if its causing a bug always

First time flashing any Android phone, ever. I'm pretty "nooby" when it comes to phone flashing.

Anyway, installation went great, etc. However, I managed to fix my Market crashes my changing my keyboard to US English, but now when I try to download Google Maps, I get "'Google Maps' could not be downloaded due to an error". Anyone experiencing this?

Flashed CM 7.1.0-N1 on nexus one via Clockwordmod.

In my case Language is already setup to English US. But after install MobileVOIP app, Market is crashing every time that I try to install a new app.

Uninstalling MobileVOIP does not worked. Market still crashing.

Thanks for the suggestion of changing the keyboard's language, I tried fixing permissions but that didn't do anything, I'm glad this solved the only issue I was having, CM7 is great!

i normally don't do this, but THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! i tought i had to install all over all the things that i did untill now.
