Same issue here and I have tried both CWM r3 and CWM r5. Other ROMS install fine, but I keep getting status 7 error with this one. Please help.

yep, same problem. im guessing that we need some custom kernel, like FXP Kernel here: http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1212949
or clockworkmod 4.x.x if anyone can test this and confirm?

ClockworkMod 4.x.x isn't available to our phones. maybe we will have to wait a little more for that.

The problem is that CWM 3.x cannot be used to install that ROM, only with CWM up to 4.x.

Waiting that clockworkmod update is APP to appear Sony devices and have new CWM available.

Thanks

I'm using MiniCM7 Pro and having no problem at all. you may give it a try until this one is complete.

Me too, it's very stable and smooth although I have a couple of minor gripes with the Xperia Arc launcher in landscape mode.  I'm really looking forward to official CyanogenMod but there are some considerations that may mean running an unofficial release equals a better experience (well at least initially)!

I tried MiniCM7 on my phone and found it a little laggier than stocks... plust Bluetooth didn't work for me... I clicked on enable, it seemed to think for a while and then returnet with BT disabled ... no way to enabling it... so I reflashed stock.

Cheers

What version were you running?  I've had no problems with v16: very smooth indeed!

v16 too... and I don't mean it was very laggy .. just a bit. In other words, not as fast as the 2.1 stock rom.. that wouldn't keep me away from it, but the BT problem just done it. I need BT as I use the phone with a hands free car adaper most of the time.

Cheers!

In my case the stock rom was much more laggy then any version of MiniCM7 and in version 16 i was using the BT just perfectly

You are right... I just found a proper CWM and flashed again MIniCM v16. It's working flawless and even things I've read that won't work are working XD

For example, my Radio FM is working, and my camera is shooting at 5mp... so, great! I'll stick with it till we have a proper working "pure" CM 7.1

Cheers
