As this is my first Post, please let me first introduce myself in a few words:
My name is Cootje and I'm living in the south part of the Netherlands. I'm a huge Samsung fan. I own the Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and a Samsung TV. I also like the Cyanogen Mod very much. But there is one thing that is bugging me. So let's move over to the question.
I installed the latest stable version of CyanogenMod (7.1). After that, I wasn't able to boot my phone. So I wiped all my data, cache, factory reset... And I got it to work. Great! The only thing I dislike is the roaming part. In the Netherlands we have Telfort as one of the providers. Telfort is part of KPN who also has a network. Telfort is roaming on theirs. My stock kernel nows that and treads Telfort as a normal provider without roaming. This is great, because I want internet on my phone, but not when I'm outside the Netherlands. As I tolled I live in the south part near the Belgium border. After CyanogenMod Telfort is treaded as a roaming provider. So to have internet I need to allow "Always roaming". But when I do this and I'm near the Belgium border, my phone starts roaming for real with the Belgium providers. I don't want that. Is it possible for the CyanogenMod to tread Telfort as a normal provider like the stock kernel does?
Hopefully someone can help me!

I found the solution on XDA

You can also make a backup before flashing rom and restore your own one.

The Dutch provider Telfort uses the KPN network. In the stock rom of my S2 it recognized it as not roaming however after flashing multiple roms i always got the notification my phone was roaming.
Replace the following attachment (spn-conf.xml) in your /etc directory and reboot. I did not create this file, i just found it googling around.
I noticed the adjusted spn-conf.xml got more providers listed so it may work for other countries too.
Don't forget to backup, just in case.
