The app "MarketFix" will fix your issue, It moves your cache to the SD card, It is very small so the error should not occur while downloading it.

I had that issue before, and this was the only solution I have found.

: All i ever got told was to boot into recovery and clear the Dalvik cache,

Here is the s0be's fix

1. adb shell (terminal)
2. su
3. mkdir /cache/download
4. chown system:cache /cache/download
5. chmod ug+rwx /cache/download
6. chmod a+x /cache/download

Then the market should download.
