Hey,

Everytime I activate Wifi for eduroam-wifi-network on my campus, it can't connect with saved setting.
Deleting this network from my N1 and reentering all data (TTLS,PAP, Certificates,Username,Anonymous-Username,Password) works, but this is extremely time-consuming.

Any ideas what could cause this problem?
Anyone else experience problems with eduroam?

Thanks in advance

Hey,

I'm having exactly the same Issues using my htc desire.
Everything went well with the stock Froyo (2.2) Rom from HTC, but after flashing CM7 it will connect once. After losing connection it will loop with connecting-deconnecting without even trying to authenticate.
I wonder what's the matter with this issue, since it also got mentioned several times (e.g.: http://forum.cyanoge...m-or-8021x-eap/ ).
Cyanogenmod is a great custom rom and I'd appreciate it if someone would take care of this error...

cheers

I guess it has something to do with the "credential storage" (don't know the correct term, but it's for saving authentications and certificates. In german language : Anmeldeinformationsspeicher)
That's how I do it:
1) Activate Settings/Location&Security/Use secure credential
2) Activate Wifi and you will see the Wifi symbol for trying to connect
3) Then reenter Settings/Location&security. Now after 2secs Wifi can connect

Maybe it will work for others. Good luck!

Hi, I appreciate your help. How do you activate that option as I am unable to click on it currently. I think it may have sth to do with other settings.

Hm that's strange ... Are there any certificates installed?
